ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The volunteer will be integrated into the Association’s recreation/culture team. As such, he/she will participate in : -Follow-up of the theatre and danceworkshops : links with the animators, participation in the workshops, photo reports, administrative link, follow-up of the material for the show, scenographic research, follow-up of the development of costumes for the show… – Organization of cultural events organized by the Association – Animation of time of cultural internships on a discipline chosen according to the skills and desires (dance, theatre, plastic arts, singing, etc.) during the school holidays – public children from 4 to 12 years old – Communication around these workshops and events – Accompanying children (4/6 years) on the time between school and cultural activity – Development of activities or projects desired by the volunteer – Valorization of the work of the volunteers of the structure -Creation and organization of exhibitions
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Accommodation: the volunteer will live in a shared apartment with other volunteers or, failing this, in a single room/apartment. Transport: if the volunteer’s accommodation is far from the mission, a transport subscription card will be taken for the volunteer Food: An amount of 7 euros per day will be awarded to the volunteer for his food needs every month Pocket money: the volunteer will receive 5 euros pocket money per day of volunteering every month (exemple : for 100 days 5×100 = 500€)
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
All volunteers will receive introduction and orientation upon arrival. We will support the volunteers in the learning of French language; the volunteers will participate in trainings promoted by the National Agency. Other trainings and opportunities might be available during the mission. This will be discussed during the activity.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for a volunteer who : – Has real interest in cultural practices and artistic creation – Has a desire for cultural and artistic transmission – Has a good sense of contact with people and with a wide range of audiences – Has a will to work with children from 4 to 12 – Has a leam spirit – Is proactive Openmindedness, friendliness and know-how-to-be are determinant criterias.
